Post Date:10/05/2016 5:00 AM

10/24/16 Update: Work will be performed at the Old Denton Road and Frankford Road intersection between 9am and 3pm tomorrow, 10/25 through Sunday, 10/30.  There will be intermittent lane closures.  It is advised that motorists take alternate routes.

10/7/16 Update:

The lanes from Trinity Mills Road to Frankford Road have re-opened, allowing for two lanes in both northbound and southbound directions. The remainder of the 10/5 update is still accurate.

10/5/16 Update:

Old Denton Road - Scheduled Completion October 2016
All lanes on Old Denton will be available for driving by the last week of October, four weeks ahead of schedule. The plan is to have lanes from Trinity Mills Road to Frankford Road reopened by Saturday, October 8, allowing for two lanes in both northbound and southbound directions. Pavers are set to be installed this week in the median between Cambridgeshire Drive, at the Furneaux bridge, and Frankford Road. Once the pavers are installed, beginning next week, the inside lanes between Cambridgeshire and Frankford will be open, but with intermittent closures for final repairs and landscaping installation. Construction is continuing at the Old Denton/Frankford intersection and is expected to be complete by the last week of October. At that point, all construction will cease until January 2017 when construction on Old Denton Road between Frankford and Rosemeade begins. All scheduling is weather dependent. Check back for updates.

9/29/2016 Update:

Construction is expected to be completed in October for Old Denton Road between Trinity Mills and Frankford Road. The project is just over a mile long and includes 6 new lanes of pavement with turn lanes and sidewalks, bridge widening, traffic signals, LED street lights, landscaping & irrigation, extension of the Furneaux Creek trail under the bridge and other miscellaneous items. The bridge north of MacArthur will feature the same design as the nearby Dickerson Bridge (pictured), and will enable direct pedestrian access to the Blue Trail from the west side of Old Denton and north of the creek.
