Walk This Way and Thieving Birds to Kick Off 8th Annual Festival at the Switchyard in Downtown Carrollton
The City of Carrollton has added Aerosmith Tribute Walk This Way and Fort Worth rock band Thieving Birds to the 2017 Festival at the Switchyard lineup.
Walk This Way opens the event, and you don’t want to miss a thing as they span four decades of top Aerosmith hits. The group promises an authentic tribute with sights and sounds of the original Bad Boys from Boston.
Next up, Thieving Birds takes the stage with their unique musical offering that showcases influences from rock, country, roots, and blues music. The five-piece group amuses audiences with their high-energy live sets.
“All we want to do is play music together, to have that moment on stage when we’re all feeling the song, and to have the crowd share that moment with us,” said vocalist and guitarist Ace Crayton. “You can’t get that feeling anywhere else. That’s live music… that’s why we do it.’’
A full Festival entertainment schedule as well as the entire musical line-up will be announced soon.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available for the event, which hosted more than 30,000 patrons in 2016.
