Lightning Complicates Power Outages and Storm-related Issues
Rosemeade Recreation Center power has been restored and is currently open.
Oak Creek Tennis Center is without power and will remain closed until power is restored.
A report from our Public Works Department from Wednesday night's storm, with no major issues on Thursday:
Traffic: Last night 11 intersection signals were inoperative, generators used at major intersections, stop signs at others; today intermittent signal issues from the lightning.
Water/sewer: two pump stations out last night with 2-3 waste water lift stations; this morning Hebron water tower and the inner basin waste water lift station had no power: vactor truck operating handling the need.
Other: trees in rights of way at multiple locations thoughout the City—mostly south end: crews out last night, we have three crews responding this morning.
