SATELLITE DISH

 

General information

A permit is required for the installation of a satellite dish in excess of two and one-half (2 ½) feet in diameter. Criteria for installation of such dishes are located in Section K (2) of Article VII of the city’s Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance.

If a contractor is used, that contractor must be registered in the city of Carrollton.

 

Plans submittal requirements

• A copy of a site plan or property survey of your property with dimensions indicating the location of the satellite dish on the property.
• A plan with dimensions indicating the overall height of the satellite dish and its support structure.

 

Inspections

An inspection will be required upon completion of work.

 

Fees and applications

A permit fee is required, and an application must be completed and submitted to the Building Inspection department at 1945 E. Jackson Rd. Please contact the Building Inspection department at (972) 466-3225 for additional information.
