1. MINUTES: Approval of Planning and Zoning Commission minutes for the May 8, 2008 meeting.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
2. Hold a public hearing and consider final action approval of a Replat of Lot 5R1, Block C, Frankford Trade Center. The 11.395-acre property is located on the south side of Frankford Road, west of Commodore Drive and is zoned (LI) Light Industrial District with the (GWY) Gateway Overlay District. Case No. 07-08RP1 Frankford Trade Center, Part 2. Case Coordinator: Dan Teaters.
3. Hold a public hearing and consider final action approval of a Replat of Lots 26, Block D; Lot 7, Block J and Lots 7, 12, 13, and 14, Block X, of Austin Waters, Phase 1 with Previously Unplatted property. The 26.977-acre site is located on the east side of Josey Lane, north of Parker Road (FM 544) and is zoned PD-177 for the (SF-5/12) Single-Family Residential and (SF-TH) Single-Family Townhouse Districts. Case No. 06-08RP4 Austin Waters, Phase 1B. Case Coordinator: Dan Teaters.
4. Hold a public hearing and consider approval of a Special Use Permit for a Mini-Storage Warehouse. The 3.798-acre site is located on the west side of Old Denton Road, north of Crowley Drive and is zoned PD-18 for the (LR-2) Local Retail and (FWY) Freeway Districts. Case No. 07‑08SUP1 All Storage, Carrollton West. Case Coordinator: Christopher Barton.
5. Hold a public hearing and consider approval of a Special Use Permit for a Restaurant with A Drive-Through Window. The 0.85-acre site is located on the north side of Belt Line Road, between Josey Lane and Metrocrest Drive and is zoned (LR-2) Local Retail District. Case No. 07-08SUP2 KFC/Taco Bell. 6. Hold a public hearing and consider approval of a Special Use Permit for a Restaurant with A Drive-Through Window. The 3,285 square foot lease space is located on the south side of Hebron Parkway, between Midway Road and International Parkway. The property is currently zoned (LR-2) Local Retail District. Case No. 07-08SUP3 Park Midway Retail. Case Coordinator: Dan Teaters.
7. Hold a public hearing and consider final action approval of a Technical Site Plan for the Vista Academy of Carrollton (charter school). The 9.821-acre site is located east of Josey Lane, north of Sunridge Road. The property is zoned (SF-12/20) Single-Family District on the northern portion and PD-3 for the (SF-12/20) Single-Family District on the southern portion of the property. The entirety of the tract is under SUP-46 allowing a church facility which exceeds the maximum height allowable in a Single-Family Residential district and SUP-146 for a day care center. 8. Hold a public hearing and consider final action approval of a request for an Alternate Facade in Lieu of Required Brick, Stone or Masonry for a New Retail Building. The 1.88-acre site is located at 2625 Old Denton Road and is zoned PD-45 for the (LR-2) Local Retail District. Case No. 07-08MD1 MVP Expansion (Alt. Façade). Case Coordinator: Ravi Shah.

INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS AND THE
PUBLIC
The Planning and Zoning Commission holds regular meetings on the first Thursday of each month. Special meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month as needed. If a meeting date is canceled or postponed, notice will be posted at the City Hall. The Planning and Zoning Commission follows the printed agenda.
The meeting is being taped; if you have testimony, please step forward to the podium and give your name and address prior to your remarks.
On zoning cases, the Planning and Zoning Commission makes recommendations to the City Council. The Commission's recommendation will be scheduled for City Council action approximately four (4) weeks after the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. On final plats, replats, preliminary plats, reapprovals of plats and certain miscellaneous development applications, action of the Planning and Zoning Commission is final.
