Planning & Zoning Commission
The Planning & Zoning
Commission consists of 9
members appointed by City Council.
The Commission has the authority for approval of
subdivision plats and provides recommendations to City Council regarding
applications for amendments to the zoning ordinance and zoning map, and the
Comprehensive Land Use Plan, in accordance with State law.
Regular meetings of the Commission will be held on the
first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council chambers of
Carrollton City Hall (1945 East Jackson Road).

Planning & Zoning Commission regular
meetings are videotaped for broadcast on Carrollton cable systems. (See
schedule on our home page.)
Special meetings and work sessions may
be held on the third Thursday of each month as necessary, and at such other
times as the Commission may determine.
Under special circumstances,
such as holidays and special events, the Chairman may reschedule meeting dates.
