CONSENT ITEM

 

1.      Hold a public hearing and consider final action approval of a Final Plat of Estates of Indian Creek, Phase 4.  The 27.6-acre site is located on the south side of Creek Valley Boulevard at Indian Run Drive and is currently zoned PD 123 for the (SF-TH) Single-Family Townhouse District.   Case No. 09-06FP1 Estates of Indian Creek, Phase 4.  Case Coordinator: Christopher Barton.  APPROVED by a vote of 9 – 0.

 

PUBLIC HEARINGS

 

2.      Hold a public hearing and consider final action approval of a Replat of Lot 5, Replat of the Briercroft Business Park Addition.  The 11.66-acre site is located at the southern end of Briercroft Court and is currently zoned (LI) Light Industrial District.  Case No. 08-08RP2 Briercroft Business Park.  Case Coordinator:  Daniel Teaters.  APPROVED with stipulations by a vote of 9 – 0.

 

3.      Hold a public hearing and consider final action approval of a request for an Alternate Facade in Lieu of Required Brick, Stone or Masonry for a New Retail Building.  The 1.88-acre site is located at 2625 Old Denton Road and is zoned PD-45 for the (LR-2) Local Retail District.  Case No. 07-08MD1 MVP Expansion (Alt. Façade).  Case Coordinator:  Ravi Shah.  APPROVED with stipulations by a vote of 6 – 3 (Frazier, Taylor & Wright opposed).

 

4.      Hold a public hearing and consider approval of an Amendment to the Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan to change an approximately 0.617-acre tract from Single-Family Residential to Low Intensity Office uses.  The 0.617-acre tract is located at the southwest corner of Whitlock Lane and Cottonwood Drive and is currently zoned (SF-8.4/16) Single-Family Residential District.  Case No. 08-08MD2 1301 Whitlock Lane (Comp Plan).  Case Coordinator: Christopher Barton.  APPROVED with stipulations by a vote of 9 – 0.

 

5.      Hold a public hearing and consider approval of an Amendment to PD-173 for the (O-1) Office District with modified development standards to include this property.  The 0.617-acre property is located on the southwest corner of Whitlock Lane and Cottonwood Drive and is currently zoned (SF-8.4/16) Single-Family Residential District.  Case No. 08-08Z1 1301 Whitlock Lane.  Case Coordinator:  Christopher Barton.  APPROVED with stipulations by a vote of 9 – 0.

 

6.      Hold a public hearing and consider approval of an Amendment to Special Use Permit No. 272 for a revised site plan.  The 34.95-acre site is located on the north side of Hebron Parkway between Arbor Creek Drive and the Burlington Northern Railroad and is currently zoned (SF-7/14) Single-Family Residential District with SUP-272 for a private school.  Case No. 08‑08SUP1 First United Methodist Church.  Case Coordinator:  Daniel Teaters.  APPROVED with stipulations by a vote of 9 – 0.

 

7.      Hold a public hearing and consider approval of an Amendment to the Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan to change an approximately 4.86-acre tract of land from Medium Intensity Office uses to Mixed-Uses.  The 4.86-acre site is located on the east side of Dozier Road, south of Parker Road (FM 544) and is currently zoned PD-170 for the (CC) Corporate Commercial District with SUP-316 for the outside storage of landscape, fencing, plants, RV’s, construction equipment, cabinet assembly and related office uses.  Case No. 08-08MD1 Dozier Place (Comp Plan).  Case Coordinator:  Lori Levy.  CONTINUED to the September 4, 2008 meeting by a vote of 9 – 0.

 

8.      Hold a public hearing and consider approval of an Amendment to PD-170 for Mixed Uses.  The 4.86-acre site is located on the east side of Dozier Road, south of Parker Road (FM 544) and is currently zoned PD-170 for the (CC) Corporate Commercial District with SUP-316 for the outside storage of landscape, fencing, plants, RV’s, construction equipment, cabinet assembly and related office uses.  Case No. 08-08Z2 Dozier Place.  Case Coordinator:  Lori Levy.  CONTINUED to the September 4, 2008 meeting by a vote of 9 – 0.

 

9.      Hold a public hearing and consider approval of an Amendment to the (TC) Transit Center District revising the land use matrix of Article XX of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance.  Case No. 05-08ZT1 Transit Center Land Uses.  Case Coordinator:  Christopher Barton.  CONTINUED to the September 4, 2008 meeting by a vote of 9 – 0.
