Animal Diversity Web
Search for information on a specific animal or browse through Kingdom Animalia. Some images are available and have Conditions of Use.

Biology Browser: Organism Resources and Links
Uses taxonomy terms to organize links. Links for the most common animals can be found by clicking chordata, then vertebrata, and then choosing the appropriate class such as mammalia or aves (birds).

CalPhotos: Animals
A collection of over 29,000 images of animals which can be browsed or searched and that can be used for non-commercial purposes. After a search, clicking on the more information link provides information about the photograph and additional links to find out more about the animal.
