Who Qualifies?

If you do not have to file a 2007 tax return but have income of $3,000 or more from:

• earned income
• Social Security benefits including disability payments
• certain railroad retirement benefits
• certain veterans' benefits
• nontaxable combat pay

then you are eligible for an economic stimulus payment. You must file a 2007 tax return to get it.

October 15, 2008 is the deadline to file to get the payment in 2008.
