Rosemeade Main Pool will be closed between 5:30 and 8:00 p.m. on July 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16 and 17 due to high demand for evening swim lessons. Rosemeade Rainforest and W.J. Thomas Pools will remain open until 8:00 p.m. on these dates.

Rosemeade Rainforest Pool Hours - starting June 7
    Saturday - 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
    Sunday - 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.
    Monday through Thursday - 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
    Friday - 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Rosemeade Swimming Complex is located adjacent to Rosemeade Recreation Center. This four-pool complex includes a 50-meter Olympic-size pool with a 25-meter short course, separate diving well, training pool, a bathhouse, concession area, picnic tables lounges and shaded areas.

The Rainforest section opened in 2007 and features a zero-depth entry pool, two platform levels with bridge, 600-gallon dump bucket, water cannons, bubblers, spray bars, a 200-foot lazy river, shade structures and lounge chairs.

W. J. Thomas Park Pool is a 50-meter, Olympic-size pool with zero-depth entry, new two-flume slide and includes a bathhouse, showers, restrooms, concessions, picnic tables, lounge chairs, shaded areas and a party deck area for groups of up to 150 people.

General Aquatics Information

Birthday Parties
Tables have been designated for reserved birthday parties for a fee of $5 per table per hour for residents and $10 per table per hour for non-residents.. Pool admission is additional. Contact the pool manager during operational hours for more information.

Pool Party Reservations
May 1 - 24 party reservations need to be made at the Athletics Office, located inside the Carrollton Public Library at Hebron & Josey, 4220 N. Josey.

After May 24 - all reservations can be made at the pools during regular hours of operation.

Private parties can be booked during non-public swim hours beginning May 24.
Rates are $75 per hour (includes 2 guards) at Thomas Pool
$150 per hour (includes 6 guards) at Rosemeade Rainforest
$100 per hour at Rosemeade Main Pool (includes 4 guards)
Depending on the group size, additional guards may be required. For each additional lifeguard, a fee of $25 per hour will be added to the reservation cost. Only adults may make reservations. Please call 972-466-9833 for more information.

Inclement Weather Policy
Classes will only be cancelled due to severe weather which includes, but is not limited to, lightning in the immediate area, severe thunderstorms, hail, and excessive winds related to weather warnings. Classes ARE NOT cancelled due to rain or cool weather.  Please call the swimming pool class hotline at 972-466-9894, 30 minutes prior to your class time for inclement weather information.
