CPR/First Aid Training

A Skill for Life

The Carrollton Fire Department offers CPR courses for individuals, groups or businesses. Anyone 13 years and older can become skilled at cardio pulmonary resuscitation, using a defibrillator, performing the Heimlich maneuver and administering basic first aid. Classes are fun, affordable and offered monthly at Rosemeade Recreation Center (972-466-9800) for individuals, or on location for groups of 8 or more. Please complete the CPR Registration form to schedule a class or contact the Emergency Medical Education organization for additional information.

Fire Extinguisher Training

The Carrollton Fire Department also offers Fire Extinguisher Training. This class is affordable and is offered on site for groups of 10 or more some exceptions can be made for this. This class will teach individuals how to properly use a fire extinguisher in case of an emergency.

Peer Fitness Training Class

The Carrollton Fire Department will be hosting a IAFF Peer Fitness Training Class September 10-14, 2007. Participants in this class will become certified fitness trainers through the IAFF and the American Council on Exercise.  For more class details you may vist: IAFF web page.
