4.5 million animal bites are reported each year in the United States, 80% of the victims are children under the age of 12, with half of all children being bitten before reaching their twelfth birthday. 18-20 deaths are the result of animal attacks, 70% of those victims are under the age of twelve.

Our most popular class is bite prevention and animal care. This class provides us an opportunity to teach children how to be safe while in the presence of all animals, including their own pets. Personal pets are responsible for more then 80% of all bites.
