The Grease Eradication Program

Grease within the City of Carrollton's sewer lines is a constant problem.  The City spends thousands of taxpayer dollars per year to clean and flush the City's sewer lines.  Grease within public as well as private sewer lines is responsible for a great number of sanitary sewer overflows.  These sanitary sewer overflows are a threat to our public health and to our environment.  To reduce the number of public and private sanitary sewer overflows and to combat grease in the sewer lines, the City of Carrollton has established the Grease Eradication Program.

The following information sheets provide information for Food Service Establishments and Apartment complexes.  This information is provided as a guide.  It is not meant as a substitute for city ordinance or state and federal law.  If you need further clarification or need more specific information regarding the Grease Eradication Program you should call the Environmental Services Department at (972) 466-3060.
