The City of Carrollton is experiencing a temporary network outage. Regular web services will be restored as soon as possible.

At approximately 5 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, the City of Carrollton’s network experienced a cyber attack. Public safety response and Carrollton’s 911 emergency response are unaffected, however, some City services have been impacted. Currently, there is no indication that shows resident information has been accessed or will be affected. Water, sewer, and trash services are running on schedule and most residents shouldn’t experience any interruptions. The City is working with state and federal officials on the investigation and will aggressively pursue prosecution of this criminal act to the fullest extent of the law.

While it takes time to resolve these types of issues, rest assured the City is working diligently to return operations back to normal and maintain business continuity.

As more information becomes available, we will update our citizens. It is an ongoing criminal investigation so this is all we can share at this time. Any news will be posted at this website and the City's social media channels.

10/18/19 - Carrollton Utility Customer Service is able to process scheduled bank drafts. Bank drafts have been processed for customers who have bills due today back dated through Thursday, Oct. 10. NOTE: If customers with an automatic bank draft during this time period paid their bills manually, they WILL NOT be drafted a second time for this month's bill. No late fees will assessed for these payments. Call 972-466-3000 with any questions.

10/14/19 - Carrollton Utility Customer Service is able to accept payments on this website via credit card. Kiosks at City Hall can accept cash, check, or credit card payment with your utility bill. You may also visit Utility Billing on the first floor of City Hall to pay by cash, check or credit card with your utility bill.



The City of Carrollton is currently impacted by a catastrophe that affects its ability to provide documents in response to Public Information Act requests. The City has submitted the necessary documentation in compliance with Texas Government Code 552.233 and will extend as necessary until such time as the City is able to comply.
