The Program

Members of the Teen Advisory Council will present the STEM-related career paths about which they are passionate. They will share:

• Why they are interested in these fields
• What education or skills are needed
• What a typical day in that career might look like

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, explore a variety of careers, and learn directly from peers in a relatable and encouraging environment through short presentations and interactive stations.

Ages: 9-12

The Presenters

This program is presented by Nysa Rimmalapudi and Ishika Pandey along with their fellow members of TAC—Carrollton Public Library's Teen Advisory Council.

Teen Advisory Council - called TAC for short - is a group of teens that meets once a month to help shape Carrollton Public Library services and materials for teens in the community.
