The Program

Join NASA Ambassador Les Murray to learn about the Lucy Mission. This spacecraft is embarking on a historic mission to explore a set of mysterious asteroids known as the Trojans, which orbit the Sun in tandem with Jupiter. These ancient relics are considered to be time capsules from the early Solar System, offering a window into the building blocks that formed the planets.

Space is limited. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis starting 15 minutes before the program. 

The Presenter

"Les Murray has a degree in physics and is a Principal Engineer for a telecom company designing fiber optics and very high speed data systems. Les has served on various standards bodies in the telecom industry and has developed many products over the last 30 years. Les is an avid amateur astronomer and likes to image the night sky. Les does lots of public outreach for astronomy, ham radio, robotics, rocketry and electronics.
