The Program
Get information on the 2.4m telescope that is NASA's next big space telescope from NASA Ambassador Les Murray. Launching no later than May 2027, this telescope will survey the infrared skies to provide transformative science on astrophysics, cosmology, and exoplanets. With its Wide Field Instrument, Roman will have a field of view ~100-200x larger than JWST and Hubble and conduct Hubble-quality science ~1000x faster.
