Everyday People: The Art of James Ransome

This exhibition was organized by the National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature in Abilene, Texas.

Everyday People features the original artwork for the vibrant illustrations of contemporary expressionist and award-winning illustrator, James Ransome. The Children's Book Council named him as one of seventy-five authors and illustrators everyone should know. Ransome received the Coretta Scott King Award for Illustration and the IBBY Honor Award. His books have been featured on Reading Rainbow and PBS's Storytime.
