The Program

Through storytelling, hands-on activities, and discussion, participants will explore influential Black leaders, key moments in history, and cultural contributions. This program will encourage curiosity, confidence, and connection while inspiring children to learn, grow, and appreciate diversity.

The Presenter

Marilyn Denise Cavaness-Dailey has more than twenty years of experience in education. She commenced her professional journey as a special education teacher, where she showcased a steadfast dedication to fostering student achievement, particularly as a certified reading specialist for those facing challenges in literacy. Marilyn holds a bachelor's degree in special education and a master’s in educational leadership.
