DESCRIPTION:<h3>The Program</h3><p>Join us for hands-on STEM lessons in this program designed and led by high school students. Held Monday afternoons June 15-July 20, each session has a brief lesson on a new topic followed by an interactive STEM lab.</p><p><strong>Ages:</strong> 9-12</p><h4>Topic for This Session</h4><p>Science Safety and Chemical Change&nbsp;&nbsp;(Elephant Toothpaste)</p><h3>Tickets</h3><p>Space is limited. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis starting 15 minutes before the program.</p><h3>The Presenters</h3><p>STEM Circuit is presented by high-achieving Creekview High School students with academic backgrounds in STEM coursework, including AP classes. In addition to their academic coursework, they have hands-on experience designing and leading science lessons through their inception of STEM Circuit. These high school students have worked closely with CFBISD to bring their program to fruition, partnering with schools like Blanton, Furneaux, and Davis Elementary to deliver 5 8-week weekly cycles to students at those schools.</p><p>Their goal is to spark a curiosity in STEM fields while maintaining close meaningful connections between older student mentors and younger learners.</p>
