Carrollton Marketing Team Wins National Awards
The City of Carrollton Marketing Services Department recently brought home two national awards from the City-County Communications & Marketing Association (3CMA) for its wide-ranging public communication and promotional efforts.
Marketing for the 2016 Carrollton Pet Photo Wall Calendar resulted in a first place Savvy award for the category of Printed Publications-Calendars. The Carrollton Sponsorship Guide and Volunteer Catalog earned an Award of Excellence in the Printed Publications-Catalogs/Guides category.
Both projects required input from various players and departments. Their recognition among dynamic communications professionals on a national stage further solidifies Carrollton’s capabilities and high quality of services to its residents.
“We hope Carrollton citizens are proud to have dedicated individuals working to engage the community and to increase involvement, responsiveness, and investment in our City,” said Marketing Director Kelli Lewis.
Effective public information offices are vital to local governments throughout the nation. Messages, programs, and campaigns link citizens to the essential information they need to access services and remain a part of the democratic process. Maintaining a shared vision for the community and ensuring the transparency of municipal government are demanding and constant requirements for successful public communicators.
