Celebrate Texas Independence in Downtown Carrollton with 2nd Annual TEXFest
The City of Carrollton is excited to announce the return of TEXFest, a free celebration of Texas Independence Day, featuring craft beer and local artists performing Texas music.
The festival takes place on Saturday, March 4 in Historic Downtown Carrollton (1106 S. Broadway Street) from 3 to 9 p.m. Texas favorites The Dirty River Boys will headline the event with songs “Carnival Lights,” “Boomtown,” and “Raise Some Hell Tonight.” Openers Holly Tucker, a Waco native and Top 6 finisher on Season 4 of The Voice, as well as Texas radio chart-topper TJ Broscoff will warm up the crowds.
Enjoy local shopping and dining in the Downtown Square as you sample drafts from local breweries and wines from a local vineyard. Capture the celebration by taking a photo with a longhorn steer and enter for chances to win station giveaways from The Ticket Sports Radio.
Event sponsors to date include, Blooms Candy and Soda Pop Shop, Christ Church Carrollton, Dignity Memorial, Liberty Mutual, Sam Pack Ford, Social Media Delivered, The Ticket Sports Radio, and Weiss Entertainment. Don’t miss the chance to partner with TEXFest as a sponsor and get your company involved in this Texas-sized good time.
