halloweenGet in the spirit of All Hallows' Eve with three spooktacular events at the A.W. Perry Homestead Museum (1509 N. Perry Road) in Carrollton.

The fun begins with the Perry Pumpkin Patch on Saturday, October 21 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Bring the family and picnic in the park, enjoy old-fashioned games and crafts, take advantage of photo opportunities, and find your pumpkin as we celebrate the fall season. Pumpkins will be for purchase or you can bring a canned good item to donate to Metrocrest Services and take one home for free!

Later that evening, come find out if the historic Perry Museum is haunted at the Paranormal Porch Panel from 5-9 p.m. Discover the truth and unravel the mystery as ghost hunters’ reveal the results of their investigation of the Perry Homestead. Hunters will disclose findings, demonstrate equipment, and field questions from the audience. Following the presentation, stay for a screening of Vincent Price’s 1959 cult classic House on Haunted Hill.

Looking for even more mystery and excitement? Take a spooky tour of the museum. Tales of Victorian ghosts, poisonous wallpaper, and creepy dolls are a small taste of what you will find. Come hear what the creaks and thuds tell us as we tour the Perry house, and explore the oddities of Victorian life during the Halloween festivities. Tours will be held on October 24, 26, and 28 at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Reservations are not required, but recommended.
