Celebrate Love in Carrollton this Valentine’s Day
It’s time to begin planning a romantic evening with that special someone, and Carrollton’s A.W. Perry Homestead Museum is offering just the event to woo your beloved.
Come enjoy A Victorian Valentine on Saturday, February 10 from 5-7 p.m. at the Museum (1509 N. Perry Road). The event will feature a couple’s dance lesson accompanied by a live performance from the Dallas New Horizons Band. There also will be sweets for your sweet in the form of chocolate and a rose included with ticket purchase.
Did you know, by the mid-1850s, Valentine’s Day had become a popular holiday in America by sending cards, lavish gifts, and even works of art to lovers and secret admirers? Continue the tradition with a special night of dreamy dancing in the sunset with your significant other.
