Mayor Falconer’s State of the City Address will focus on new developments, programs, and events within the City. The City of Carrollton tagline is Where Connections Happen, and the City wants to connect our residents with information about all that is occurring within the city limits.

“I’m looking forward to sharing some of the exciting things happening in our great city,” Falconer said. “Carrollton is continuing to progress as one of the best cities in America to live, work, and play, and I hope citizens will join me for this exhilarating journey.”

The event agenda also includes the presentation of the Neighborhood Leadership and Outstanding Community Organization Awards. These awards recognize community members and organizations whose contributions have displayed outstanding service to their neighborhoods through efforts such as board leadership, beautification projects, and community events.

“The Neighborhood Partnership Office is excited to recognize volunteers who made a difference in 2017,” Environmental Services Director Scott Hudson said. “Carrollton is grateful for the quality and quantity of volunteers whose service enhances the lives of its citizens.”
