Contribute to the Carrollton Parks & Recreation Programs and Events Through Citizen Feedback Survey
In a continuing effort to make programs, events, and facilities safer amid the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Carrollton Parks & Recreation Department has invited residents to complete a brief survey on how activities can be of better service to existing and future patrons. The survey opportunity is open through Monday, August 31 and is 12 questions.
“Carrollton continually seeks new and better ways to engage the community with rewarding experiences especially during these changing times,” Parks & Recreation Director Scott Whitaker said. “Our programs offer recreation, education, and an opportunity to have fun, meet other people, and develop new friendships along the way.”
The survey results will enable the City to make decisions on program offerings and improve participants’ experience, with the interests of Carrollton citizens at the forefront. Community members and visitors are encouraged to make their voices heard to play a part in the development of activities that best serve all who utilize the City’s many indoor and outdoor recreational facilities. The Parks & Recreation Department wants to know what the community wants for programs and services and wants to hear what changes residents have made since the onset of COVID-19.
“Carrollton is where connections happen and the City Parks & Recreation Department plays an integral role in connecting those who live, work, and play in Carrollton with the resources that they need and want,” Recreation Manager Heather Smith said. “This survey will help gauge the impact of COVID-19 on families and individuals giving residents a way to help the City continue progressing toward its vision of being the community that families and businesses want to call home.”
To access the survey, visit surveymonkey.com/r/CPARD1. Surveys will be accepted through 11:45 p.m. on Monday, August 31 and will include space for additional input and suggestions. All responses are submitted anonymously.
