Carrollton Announces Return of Festival at the Switchyard Nov. 6
The City of Carrollton's annual Festival at the Switchyard will return to Historic Downtown Saturday, November 6 for music lovers, fried food fans, shopaholics, and kiddos of every age.
The City’s signature event was cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The public’s health and safety remain top of mind, and work is underway to plan a secure event, filled with family-friendly entertainment.
In addition to free concerts, the award-winning Festival at the Switchyard features free live children’s entertainment, free rides and games, free face painting and balloon art, a beer garden, and an array of food vendors and Festival booths to shop from. The event is held on the streets of Downtown Carrollton, just off IH-35E and Belt Line Road, steps away from the Downtown Carrollton Station on the DART Green Line.
Vendor applications will open Friday, June 4, and interested businesses may email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. Vendors will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
