The City of Carrollton invites dog lovers and their furry companions to close out the summer with a splash at the annual Pooch Pool Party on Saturday, September 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rosemeade Rainforest Aquatic Complex (1334 E. Rosemeade Parkway).

Dogs will have full run of the pool while their humans can check out a variety of pet-friendly vendors and watch their dogs splash in the water for a fun-filled time. The Carrollton West Veterinary Clinic will be on-site from 10 a.m. to noon offering vaccines, and Carrollton Animal Services will provide free City pet registrations throughout the event.

Admission is $10 per dog, and no charge for humans. To participate, all dogs must have a current rabies vaccination (or receive one on-site), be registered with the City of Carrollton (or register at the event), and be accompanied by an adult. Reminder: Humans are not permitted in the pool with their pets.
