The City of Carrollton’s Marketing Services team was honored to win three 2025 Blue Pencil and Gold Screen Awards for marketing and communications efforts from the National Association of Government Communicators (NAGC).

NAGC_GroupPhotoThe Blue Pencil and Gold Screen Awards is a national and international awards program held each year to recognize superior government communication products and those who produce them. The work exemplifies the power of clear, creative, and impactful communication in information and engaging the public.

The City of Carrollton garnered a first-place award for Graphics - Display and a third-place award for Graphic Arts for the design and promotion of the 2024 Festival at the Switchyard event campaign artwork. The City also received a second-place award for Educational or Promotional Campaign for its Storm Drain Art contest initiative, which was the first of its kind in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, launched by the City of Carrollton to creatively engage the community in stormwater pollution awareness. Winning artists painted

“It is an honor to be recognized by a prestigious national organization such as NAGC,” said Marketing Director Kelli Lewis. “The Marketing Services team works to prioritize communications that increase citizen engagement, awareness, excitement, and investment in our City. I’m proud of the City’s efforts toward Council’s vision to be the community that families and businesses want to call home.”
