Carrollton, Texas – City of Carrollton Water Utilities Division Manager Brian Little will receive the 2008 Texas Public Works Association Professional Manager of the Year Award in Water Resources Friday, June 13.
The Professional Manager of the Year Award in the Water Resources category seeks to recognize outstanding achievement in the area of water resources and to inspire excellence and dedication in the public sector by recognizing the outstanding career service achievements of water resource professionals.
Little has dedicated over 25 years in the water/waste water operations area for Carrollton and was promoted through the numerous supervisory level positions to his current role as division manager. Overall, he leads 55 personnel and effectively manages the distribution of 8.4 billion gallons of water annually, three water pump stations, 48.5 million gallons of water storage, 512 miles of water distribution mains, 34,500+ water service connections, collects 5 billion gallons of wastewater annually, 421 miles of wastewater collection mains, and 22 wastewater lift stations.
