Arts & Culture are essential to a progressive and thriving community. Carrollton is expanding its arts and culture presence by developing a variety of free and low-cost initiatives, which include events and programs, for the public to enjoy.


Current/Future Partnerships and Grants

  • Partner with local high schools to display student artwork
  • Showcase CFBISD Reflections art contest winners
  • 100 years of Women’s Suffrage historical display
  • Alzheimer’s Association Art display
  • Grant for play kitchen installations for promoting literacy and dramatic arts
  • Special Storytime partners (Fire, PD, Miss Carrollton, local dentists, doctors, etc.)
Parks & Recreation
  • Artist in Residence with local universities/colleges
  • Pop up art programs
  • Heritage celebrations (e.g., Black History Month)
  • School-based partnerships
  • Texas Commission on the Arts grants

Whether you are interested in filming a small public service announcement or commercial, to series television, to feature and independent films---we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
