The City of Carrollton has implemented a new alarm permit system to improve efficiency in the issuance of alarm permits, processing of false alarm fines and communication of alarm prevention materials. All new and existing alarm permit holders must register their alarm. Alarm permits are renewed on an annual basis. So even if you have had an alarm for years, you must renew your permit each year in order to avoid costly fines.
