**New Inspection Process Guidelines**
The City of Carrollton conducts Pre-Construction meetings after you have received your construction permit. The city project manager will contact you to set up this meeting, held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30 am.
This free meeting will bring together several Carrollton departments to help answer all your building questions concerning your project. You will receive a Pre-Construction manual to help guide you during construction to all building inspection services, including how to scheduling inspections using the IVR system, an automated phone scheduling system.
Contractors, please bring a construction schedule with milestones and an anticipated completion date.
Approximately one month prior to finishing your project, a pre-Certificate of Occupancy (Pre-C/O) meeting should be scheduled. The inspection project manager will provide a list of any outstanding items needed to be completed before you can receive your C/O.
A Certificate of Occupancy Guide is available to provide further instructions when planning for the completion of the project.
