General Information 
A permit is required for the installation of a carport. If a contractor is used, that contractor must be registered in the City of Carrollton. For zoning requirements concerning carports, please see the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance.

Applications are accepted through the CityServe Portal in addition to payment of permit fees. Please call 972-466-3225 with any questions.
