2024-2025 NEMGP Applications Are Being Accepted Until June 1.

Supporting Neighborhoods in Improving Shared Spaces.

The Neighborhood Enhancement Matching Grant Program (NEMGP) is designed to support Carrollton neighborhoods in enhancing the beauty, safety, and identity of their communities. This competitive grant offers matching funds for projects that improve public spaces while fostering stronger community connections.


Grant Overview

City Contributions

Through NEMGP, the City of Carrollton will provide:

  • A matching contribution of $2 for every $1 contributed by the neighborhood
  • Up to $25,000 in funding per project
  • Permit assistance and coordination with other City departments as needed
  • Oversight to ensure project quality and compliance with City standards
Neighborhood Contributions

Applicants must contribute at least 33.3% of the total project cost through:

  • Neighborhood organization funds
  • Donated materials
  • Volunteer labor (valued at $15/hour)
  • Donated technical expertise

 NOTE: City funding is contingent upon approval by the Neighborhood Advisory Commission (NAC) and available annual program funding.
