Neighborhood Enhancement Matching Grant (NEMGP) Workshop

Thursday, January 30 at Josey Ranch Lake Library, Environmental Room from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

Navigating the Neighborhood Enhancement Matching Grant (NEMGP) application and planning can be daunting. This workshop will simplify the process, provide resources and answers. NEMGP applications are due June 1, for remaining 2019-2020 funds! Next time to apply will be January 1, 2021!  So now is the time to get involved.

The grant guidelines allow for neighborhoods to receive up to $25,000 per application. The NEMGP will still require a neighborhood "match" which can be in sweat equity (volunteer labor or donations) or in matching funds. The match requirement is a 2:1 match.
The Neighborhood Enhancement Matching Grant Program (NEMGP) is a vital element of the City's on-going efforts to stimulate reinvestment in neighborhoods throughout Carrollton. Under this program, funding is made available for improvement projects planned and requested by neighborhood groups on a "first come, first served" basis. Each application is determined on a case by case approach. This is a matching grant program based on an agreement providing performance conditions.
For more information the program call The Neighborhood Partnership Office at 972-466-4299 or
