The City of Carrollton requires companies that transport non-hazardous liquid waste, such as grease or grit trap waste, to have a valid Liquid Waste Hauler Permit.
Each truck must have its own permit, which is valid for one year and cannot be transferred.
A permit application must be submitted to Environmental Services before any permits are issued.
How to Apply for a Liquid Waste Hauler Permit
- Fill out the Liquid Waste Hauler permit application.
- Submit the permit application through the CityServe Portal.
Permit Fees: $150 for the first truck and $100 for each additional truck.
Truck Inspections
All trucks must be inspected by Environmental Services personnel to ensure they are clean and well maintained. To set up an inspection appointment with the Pollution Control Coordinator, call 972-466-5727.
Trip Ticket
A City of Carrollton trip ticket must be used to document the generation, transportation, and disposal of all liquid waste generated in the City.
- Books of 10 trip tickets are $25 each and can be obtained from Environmental Services located on the first floor of Carrollton City Hall at 1945 E. Jackson Road.
- Completed trip tickets must be returned to Environmental Services on a monthly basis.
