Home MenuWaterway Cleanup
Litter often collects in Carrollton’s creeks, parks, and trails after heavy rains. Waterway Cleanups give residents a simple way to help remove litter and protect natural areas throughout the City.
This page explains how to participate in a Waterway Cleanup Community Service Project and what to expect before and after your cleanup.
About the Project
Waterway Cleanups are a flexible community service option for individuals, families, or groups. The City provides cleanup supplies, and participants choose when and where to complete their cleanup.
This project is commonly used for one-time service events, school or court requirements, short-term commitments, and as an alternative to Adopt-A-Spot for those not ready for a long-term agreement.
