Live Burn

We will continue the single story live burn scenario at the live fire facility.


TIC Class

We have invited instructors from Safe-IR.com to come on the 7th - 12th and give us a class over our thermal imagers. The shift BCs will inform those who will be participating.

Bail Out Drills

Go to the old training building and perform the bail out drills we've been practicing. Make sure to coordinate with the E112 captains, so they can observe and make sure proper safety precautions are taken.

Bunk Out

Officers and tailboards need to practice:

  1. getting bunked out for fire calls from station duty attire, gaining access to riding position, getting seat belted, and coming off the apparatus with all proper gear  (SCBA standard 3)
  2. going on air as if you are at the door of a working structure fire. Start with all gear on except for your mask, then don mask and click on air as if you are going into the IDLH atmosphere  (SCBA standard 2)

Drivers and Ambulance personnel need to practice:

  1. coming off the engine/truck/ambulance in station gear and getting fully bunked out to prepare to enter a structure fire  (SCBA standard 1)
