Hose Advancement

A make-up hose advancement class will be held on the afternoon of October 27th for those who missed part 1.

For those of you that did attend the class, make sure you are practicing at the station. Go through all the positions and maneuvers (hip grip, clamp, clamp slide, transition, push, more/less hose, pick me up, fire behind, backwall, and the knee walk or duck walk). Try and practice these on every even numbered day of the month.

Log efforts in Firehouse under AEA:WATER DELIVERY.

SCBA

Practice, practice, practice SCBA. Everyone should go through donning and masking up in various situations. Black out your masks and follow a hose line through the apparatus bay, station, or local park. Try and do some familiarity drill on every odd number day of the month.

Log efforts in Firehouse using AEA:SCBA.
