Equipment Interaction Order

1. Public computer to send the job(s) except for Catalog Kiosk computer which cannot print.
2. EasyPay Self-Service Station to pay for and release job(s).

You do not have to interact with the screen on the Multi-function Printer when you are printing from a computer.

Timeframe

• 3 hours to pay for and release print job(s)

Single or Double-Sided Printing

Pay attention to the selected printer at the computer to make sure your jobs will print the way you want.

Single-sided Printers

To print on only one side of paper choose:

• JRL Black and White or JRL Color
• HJ Black and While or HJ Color

Double-sided Printers

To print on both sides of paper choose:

• JRL Duplex Black and White or JRL Duplex Color
• HJ Duplex Black and White or HJ Duplex Color

Optimize Prints at Computer Before Releasing

The printer only prints what is sent to it. The computer is what determines how a print job looks. 

The Using Library Computers page—which is the browser home page on public computers—gives suggestions to avoid blank pages and make sure printed pages look as you expect. Service Desk staff can help at the computer with printing.

How-to Pay and Release

1. Tap Release My Press Jobs on the EasyPay Self-Service Station screen.
   
2. Enter your card number or guest pass information to find your job(s).
3. Select job(s) then tap Print in upper left corner.
   
4. Select Vending Device to pay with cash or Credit Card to pay with a card, Apple Pay, or Google Wallet.
5. Insert card, tap phone/watch, or add money to the vending device.
6. If paying with cash, wait to click OK on this Vending Deposit pop-up window until ALL money has been added.
   
7. Job(s) will print. Change due is automatically returned.

Equipment Interaction Order

1. EasyPay Self-Service Station to pay for copies to activate the copy function.
2. Multi-function Printer screen to choose kind of copy, adjust settings, preview, and make copies.
3. EasyPay Self-Service Station to indicate done with copying so any change due is returned or final cost of copies is charged to credit card.

How-to Copy

1. Tap Make Copies on the EasyPay Self-Service Station screen.
   
2. Tap Make Copies on next screen
   
3. Select Vending Device to pay with cash or Credit Card to pay with a card, Apple Pay, or Google Wallet.
4. If you chose Credit Card, you must authorize an initial amount of $1, $2, $5, or $10 on the credit card. It may take a few days for the hold to drop off your account and the actual cost of the copies to appear.
   
5. Insert card, tap phone/watch, or add money to the vending device.
6. If Multi-function Printer screen is on Sign in to add credits to make copies screen, tap Home icon in upper left corner...
   
   ...or Exit button in lower right corner
   
7. Tap screen to choose the kind of copies you want to make: BW Copy (black and white), Color Copy, or ID Scan.
   
8. Place original face down on scanner bed or face up in document feeder with guides against edges of paper.
9. Choose options on screen if needed such as number of copies
10. Tap the Preview area to see how copy will look.
11. Tap green Copy button to make copy.
12. Repeat steps 7-9 until all copies are made.
13. Tap Done on EasyPay Self-Service Station when finished.
14. Tap Email under Receipt Options then enter email address for a receipt of copying cost that will be charged to your card. Otherwise, tap No Receipt.

ID Scan

ID Scan makes a black and white copy of the front and back of an ID on the same page for the cost of a single copy, $0.15. Just follow the instructions on the Multi-function Printer screen for where to place the ID and when to flip it over.
