TexShare is a consortium of Texas libraries joining together to share print and electronic materials, purchase online resources, and combine staff expertise. TexShare services are available to patrons of participating member libraries all across Texas, regardless of institution type, size, or location. The consortium is administered by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.
TexShare Card Program
The Card Program is a reciprocal borrowing program which allows registered users of participating TexShare libraries to obtain a TexShare card and use the card to borrow materials directly from other participating libraries. You must obtain a TexShare card from your home institution before going to other libraries. Special lending policies may apply at lending libraries.
Individual libraries set their own eligibility criteria. To get a TexShare card from the Carrollton Public Library, a patron must

As currently defined, a patron in good standing is a patron who
