Rules

Be aware when selecting media for creating your bookmark:
Three-dimensional textures or elements will be difficult to turn into a printed bookmark. Also, glitter and shiny elements will not translate well into a printed piece.

Make a copy of your entry before submission. Entries will NOT be returned.

  1. The bookmark’s content must be user-created original artwork by the person entering the contest.
    • No AI-generated art or images
    • No cut out pictures from a magazine.
    • No clipart from online.
    • No copyrighted images.
    • Etc.
It needs to be your OWN work.
  2. Image for the bookmark must be 2”x8".
    • A quarter-inch bleed around the bookmark is helpful - this means extend your design 1/8 -1/4 of an inch outside the 2"x8" area to allow for misalignment in cutting of the bookmarks.
  3. Must be submitted by Monday, March 23.
  4. Bookmark entries must be brought to either of our Libraries with the form portion fully completed.
Entry forms available at the Service Desks starting February 23:
    • Josey Ranch Lake Library, 1700 Keller Springs Road
    • Hebron & Josey Library, 4220 N. Josey Lane.
