Challenge yourself during those slow winter months, when a good book can take you on an adventure without leaving the comfort of a cozy chair.

We encourage children age 5 and under to participate in our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program. Research has shown that this year-long program has tremendous benefit for your young child.

• November 1: First day to register or join the challenge
• December 1: First day to log reading
• February 1: Last day to log reading

You only have to register once, then you reuse the same login information to join each new challenge.

Tips for tracking reading in the Beanstack app:

• Scan the UPC barcode on the back of a book to quickly add a title. -- How-to Instructions
