The Parks & Recreation Board consists of 9 City Council appointed members. The Board serves in an advisory capacity, concerning the acquisition, maintenance, operation and use of parks, playgrounds and open spaces within the City (Section 133.31, Carrollton Code of Ordinances).

Meetings are held the fourth Monday of every other month, at 6:30 p.m., at the Crosby Recreation Center; 1610 E. Crosby Rd.

The staff liaison for this board is Jonathan Scheu, Interim Parks and Recreation Director.
