Pawrents! Bring your pets to an afternoon paw-ty in Downtown Carrollton! Paws on the Square is a FREE event that brings people, pets, animal welfare organizations, and pet-friendly companies together to make Carrollton a better place for pets!

Vaccinations & Pet Registration 

Low Cost Vaccinations will be provided by Texas Coalition for Animal Protection from 11am-1pm. Pet Registration provided from the City of Carrollton's Animal Center.

Where is Paws on the Square held? 

Paws on the Square is held on the streets of beautiful Historic Downtown Carrollton, situated right off of IH-35E at Belt Line Road (map).   

What time is Paws on the Square?

Paws on the Square will take place on Saturday, June 5 from 11am to 2pm.

What activities are taking place?

Pets and pawrents will have the opportunity to take a photo in our dog photo booth, be drawn by a caricature artist, place their paws on a canvas with ink for a cool keepsake, and shop from a variety of animal based vendors. Vaccinations, registrations, and adoption opportunities will also be on site.

 Where do I park?

We suggest taking the DART Green Line to the Downtown Carrollton Station (regular charges apply; visit dart.org/fares for more details). If you choose to drive, free parking is available at the DART station at the northeast corner of Belt Line and Broadway. Please be sure to park in lots that are designated with parking signage. We are not responsible for damages to vehicles or fees incurred while parking in private lots.

Will there be food for humans?

Yes, a variety of human food will be available. 

 Do dogs need to be on a leash?
 Yes, all dogs must be on a leash.
