We invite you to enjoy the open spaces along the many paved trails and sidewalks in Carrollton. Spending time outdoors helps promote increased physical activity and better health. It's free and easy, and fun for all ages! Trails provide an alternate means of transportation for walkers and cyclists which reduces pollution and improves air quality. Some trails have added center stripes to remind trail users to share the trail. We recommend you always follow our multi use trail guidelines below. 

Multi Use Trail Guidelines

• Be courteous to trail users at all times.

• Keep to the right, except when passing.

• Always pass on the left, and give clear audible warning when passing slower traffic.

• Avoid congregating or stopping in the middle of the trail.

• Bicyclists should control their speed at all times and slow down in congested conditions, reduced visibility or other hazardous conditions.

• Pet owners should keep dogs on a leash at all times and remove pet waste from the trail.

Trails Master Plan
