Yeehaw! Bring your boots and buckles for a Texas-style celebration in Carrollton, y'all! This exciting event features a beer garden with local craft brews, live Texas music to get everyone’s toes tapping, a mouthwatering food village to satisfy every Texas craving, and photo ops with an iconic live longhorn. It’s a Lone Star experience not to be missed.

TEXFest will be held rain or shine, though severe weather conditions may result in delays or cancellations of activities or event. Be prepared by dressing accordingly and keeping eye on the Downtown Carrollton - City Events Facebook page for updates.

TEXFest offers a variety of food and shopping options for a bootin' scootin' good time. Mosey to the Historic Square for some Texas-sized fun featuring:

Craft beer offerings from local breweries (coordinated by Downtown Carrollton’s 3 Nations Brewing Co.)

Can I bring my own chair?

No. Space within the event grounds is limited. Seating areas within the event are provided.

What other admission restrictions are there?

The following items are prohibited: skateboards, bicycles, scooters, roller-blades, chairs, and coolers.

Can I bring alcoholic beverages?

Although beer can be purchased on the event grounds and several restaurants on the Square also serve alcoholic beverages, alcohol is not permitted to enter or leave the event grounds per TABC regulations.

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are permitted on the event grounds, but must remain leashed at all times.

ROAD CLOSURES

The streets surrounding the Downtown Carrollton Square (W. Main, 4th Ave, S. Elm, and S. Broadway) will be closed the entire day from 6 am-11 pm, and some of the parking structures have reduced capacity due to construction.

Here are a few suggestions to ensure you have an amazing time:

Take the DART Green Line: Avoid the parking hassle and enjoy a stress-free ride to Downtown Carrollton. The Downtown Carrollton DART station is just a short walk from the event, making it a convenient and easy choice. Regular charges apply; visit dart.org/fares for more details.

Plan for parking: If you do decide to drive, there will be free, designated parking areas nearby. Be sure to arrive early to secure your spot since parking is limited.
