Members of the Carrollton Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (CCPAAA) have designed a sign that can be used by anyNo Solicitation Sign homeowner in the City to indicate to handbill distributors and solicitors that they neither wish to receive advertisements or handbills, nor do they wish to have their privacy disturbed to hear a personal solicitation. These signs are available for a donation of $10, proceeds of which go to the Carrollton Police Department.

Sign holders receiving unwanted advertisements or solicitations have recourse to file complaints with the Carrollton Citizen's Patrol which has authorized two volunteer members to act upon the violation complaints received at 972-466-3281 or ccpaaa@ccpaaa.org

Any permitted party leaving items at, or attempting to solicit a residence, where a "No Soliciting Sign" is posted is in violation of a Class C misdemeanor.

Signs are available in the Carrollton Police Department Lobby Monday thru Thursday from 8am to 5pm or Friday from 8am to 11am. If those are not convenient times, you may e-mail ccpaaa@ccpaaa.org  and a CCPAAA member will advise different venues where the signs will be available.
