Video evidence is one of the most effective tools in solving crimes, and you can help! When a crime occurs, one of the first steps in an investigation is to canvas the area for security cameras. By letting the Carrollton Police Department know ahead of time that you have a camera, you can save investigators valuable time and help keep our community safer. 

Through the Carrollton Safe program, your participation will greatly enhance emergency preparedness by enabling police, fire, and public safety professionals to better assess and respond quickly to criminal activity and emergency situations. It also allows investigators to easily gather evidence in the event of an incident.

 There are three ways to get involved:

• Register your existing cameras
• Integrate your system for real-time access during emergencies
• Purchase Flock cameras directly through the program

All you have to do is provide basic information about your camera's location, coverage area, and how to contact you if needed.

This information and video footage will only be accessible to Carrollton Police Department personnel. If you choose to simply register your cameras, we will only reach out if we believe your footage may contain evidence or information helpful to an investigation. Your personal information will remain confidential except as required by law.
